Mr. Yugo Neumorni, CISA, EMBA

 

Mr. Yugo Neumorni, CISA, EMBA, is the President and co-founding member of CIO Council Romania, the national association representing IT Directors and CIOs. With over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, he has led complex digital transformation initiatives across the energy, manufacturing, and logistics sectors, with deep expertise in cybersecurity and cyber defense, IT governance (COBIT), data privacy, ERP, business intelligence, and IT systems architecture.

Mr. Neumorni is also an active private investor and advisor to venture capital and private equity funds operating in Eastern Europe. He is a co-founder and partner at FutureNow Capital, a venture capital fund currently under establishment, and serves on the advisory boards of multiple AI, cybersecurity, and energy startups. He is an alumnus and active member of InnovX, one of Europe’s leading accelerator platforms, and is part of the InnovX VC investor community.

His executive experience includes serving as Chief Information Officer for several major organizations such as Deloitte, Vimetco, Hidroelectrica, Cargus, ClusterPower, and ContourGlobal. At the European level, he served as Chairman of the European CIO Association (EuroCIO) and has been a member of BCS Elite (British Computer Society) as well as President of ISACA Romania.

Since 2018, Mr. Neumorni has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Forum International de la Cybersécurité (FIC/InCyber)—Europe’s foremost cybersecurity forum.He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Bucharest and earned his Executive MBA from ASEBUSS – Kennesaw State University in 2009. He has been CISA certified since 2001 and previously held Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) credentials.
